Prices can vary dramatically depending on the level of competition in your vertical, where we are starting from and for the keywords that you require. Other factors, such as the domain age and metrics of your domain also play a part. Below, we will examine your competition as well as your existing domain metrics.

Scope Of Work
This proposal will be for growing the online presence of Retreat at Sky Ridge, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.
We would like to advise that if your “branding name” is still flexible (DBA for legal name) it would be highly beneficial to include “Rehabilitation Center” or “Addiction Recovery” in the name that is referenced online, such as the website, GMB location, citations, social media and all other references to the business. This will assist in Google accepting the new business category as well as the long term search engine optimization.
Local SEO
The Google My Business ecosystem has become a major aspect of all brick and mortar digital presence. We will address the conversion of the existing GMB listing to a rehabilitation facility.
Currently, Retreat at Sky Ridge has two Google My Business accounts – one for Retreat at Sky Ridge and one for Sky Ridge Pavilion. The “Pavilion” listing will be sunsetted and we will focus on the Retreat at Sky Ridge.
If we are able to keep the GMB, with its existing reviews, age, and authority, that will be the best scenario. There is a possibility that Google will not let us move forward with so many changes to the listing. We will need to change the name, categories, phone number, and other, smaller aspects of the listing. So many fundamental changes could trigger Google to force us to create an entirely new GMB listing.
Although it is more work to keep the existing account active, it will benefit from its age, reviews, and existing authority. We would need to update all of the existing citations with the new information and close down any citations that cannot be updated.
*Please be aware that the search traffic generated from the Google My Business listing will most likely initially decrease upon changing all of the aspects of the GMB listing and the website having new content. This will be caused by people searching for the previous business are now finding an entirely new one; which provides the legacy searchers with a bad user experience. Those are not your customers (their intent is drastically different) so the loss of traffic from irrelevant keyword searches will have no effect on the bottom line. We will be working to still leverage the existing account over creating a new one.

Traditional SEO
Traditional Organic SEO is ranking below any localized map results. Traditional SEO focuses on having a presence regardless of someone’s specific geolocation and makes up the vast majority of the traffic on the internet. Traditional SEO leverages original copy to be written, optimized for SEO, posted, and socially syndicated. This is done to acquire high-quality backlinks from other topically relevant websites. We also implement our own proprietary processes for acquiring high-quality backlinks, which still are the #1 ranking factor.
Keyword Refresh and Reporting
At the onset of any SEO campaign, we implement a full Keyword Research project. This looks not only at the keywords and phrases that the website currently ranks for but the keyword and phrases that your competitors rank for. In this process, we look for high converting keywords that don’t just bring traffic but create customers. This lets us assign keywords to specific pages on the website so we know what On-Page SEO needs to be implemented, as well as the anchor text that should be leveraged.
Backlinks
We will create new, high-quality backlinks from high-authority sites. We also create a substantial amount of citation accounts in our Local SEO strategy, most of which have direct backlinks to a respective page on the main website. These are usually about 90% no-follow backlinks, which help with the backlink profile.
On-Page SEO
We have become quite proud of our extremely advanced On-Page SEO techniques and processes. We start with basic reporting for obvious issues such as broken links, unsecured content, etc. We then assign the money pages. In your case, that was done a long time ago, since we built (and siloed way before its time) the site. We look at the internal linking structure to ensure the main money pages get the appropriate share of the overall internal linking and they pass link juice to the child pages. Once we have the keywords assigned to the money pages, we can go to the next step.
We then use a program that scrapes the top 100 results for a specific keyphrase and compares them to our money page. The program analyzes the correlation coefficiency between the pages to spit out a roadmap of technical SEO that all of the top-ranking pages have in common. We then customize each page with a human mind to implement as many of the highest correlating factors possible.
Schema
Our finest On-Page SEO is implemented on the schema side of things. We believe that Google is moving toward leveraging the schema more and more and will continue to be a more important ranking factor. We have a detailed work-flow outlining every potential schema possibly for each money page. The schema is then applied directly to the page (not using a schema plugin) and double-checked through the Structured Data Testing Tool.

What is
NOT INCLUDED in Your Proposal
To avoid any confusion, we feel it is just as important to mention what is NOT included in our package as to reference what IS included.
- Money Page Content– Although we will work with Oxblood in augmenting and optimizing much of the copy, in the event a new money page must be created, we would request that someone on your team or Oxblood provide the copy.
- Website Maintenance – Oxblood will continue to manage the website.
- Social Media Marketing – Although we may, at our discretion, choose to pay for social media advertising in an effort to drive traffic to a specific page, paid social media marketing and social media management will continue to be managed and maintained by Oxblood.
Strategy
Our Plan
Overall Strategy
As with most of our SEO clients, we would anticipate more work in the first 6 months of the campaign. Because of this, we feel it is only fair to structure our costs accordingly. Meaning, we would reduce our price after 6 months.
The existing website at https://www.retreatatskyridge.com/ has decent metrics to start off. The challenge is the current backlink profile has absolutely nothing to do with alcohol or drug addiction or any health reference. This will have to be overcome by disavowing some of the lesser quality backlinks that are in the backlink profile while adding a substantial amount of health, addiction, and therapy backlinks.
This change of backlink profile will make the URL structure extremely important as it must add the keywords to the URL. Strategic 301 redirects for all pages that have existing backlinks must be implemented. We do not recommend creating 301s for other pages that would forward to otherwise unrelated content.
A backlink is what it’s called when other quality websites within the medical niche put links on their site that link back to yours. In addition to the OnPage and Local SEO (which would slow down after 6 months) our big focus would be on acquiring backlinks. Although this would start day one and continue, the On-Page SEO and the Local SEO will taper off.
Content Marketing
The Content Marketing strategy includes creation of new “blog content” at the pace of two per month. Those blog posts will be socially syndicated through our network of social media platforms and personna accounts. This would continue for 180 days. After 6 months, we should have enough copy and internal links to move to Long-Form content (2,000 words+) with a high level of scrutiny and due diligence to create. These would be posted at the rate of 1 per quarter. We will work to have new backlinks, pointing to the blog posts as well as the money pages. With the growing importance in Google My Business, as it pertains to overall visibility, we will optimize the 3 Google My Business listings to work in synergy with the website.
On Page SEO
Our strategy consists of going through the existing site and fine tuning for today’s highest level of On-Page SEO. Although we know the main keywords, we will start with a full keyword research project. We will make requests, with specific direction, for Oxblood to implement. Upon reviewing the page, assigning “money pages” and having associated keyword goals for each respective page, we would optimize each page for SEO. Upon creating and syndicating new content, we would create internal links to the money pages and point some new backlinks. We will use our schema markup to attempt to rank for Rich Snippets where applicable.
Local SEO / Google My Business
As previously mentioned, we will attempt to change the required fields within the GMB listing to reflect the new business. This includes reworking categories, service areas, services, and updating all of the existing citations that currently point to the listing.
If this gets flagged by Google, we may have to create a new GMB listing with the updated and correct information. This is the least desirable but also the least work to implement. It is actually more work updating existing citations and listings than to create them from scratch, but also would require more time to achieve ROI.
The final GMB listing will ultimately have “a specific radius” where the GMB account gets visibility in the Map-Pack as well as the 3-Pack Below. Because of the nature of the business, we will be focusing on the largest geographical area possible. These rankings increase direct phone calls (because a large majority are on mobile devices) as well as website visits and driving directions. As a general rule, the displaying of a specific GMB listing is heavily weighted by the geo-location of the searcher. The creation of the citation accounts equates to “brand mentions” in the eyes of Google and plays a significant part in overall rankings.
Transparency
To keep up with the entire project, we eat the elephant one bite at a time. Every Milestone, Task List, Task, and Subtask is assigned and updated as work progresses. At your discretion, you can choose to receive an email every time a task is updated or closed. You will have a full login to see your project and every task yet to be completed as well as see the percentage of completion on existing tasks. We will work closely with Oxblood on implementing overall best practices and Search Engine Optimization tactics.
Financial
Investment
Due to the necessity to invest a substantial amount of work in the first 6 months, we have come up with a price that is directly correlated to the work involved. This lets us REDUCE THE PRICE after 6 months.
$2,450 per month for the first 6 months.
$2,150 per month thereafter
No Setup Fee.
Since we do apply substantially more work on the onset of any digital marketing campaign, even though we reduce the price after 6 months, we still have our processes weighted. This requires us to ask for a minimum of a 12-month “gentleman’s agreement” for our quoted services.
This proposal is good for 30 days after the proposal date of October 14th.
